If we happen to check your site before you put up the link back, you will likely be required to resubmit your site. Codes must stay up at all times, even if your site is on hiatus. If not your site will be removed. 2. You may not direct link. If you do, expect a lemon-drop.net button in its place. Thanks for the free advertising! 3. Submit as many of your own sites as you please. You may submit as many sites as you want as long as you are the owner of the site, and fill out an individual form for each site to be listed. Each site may only be listed once. 4. Please update your information as needed. If you move, we'd hate to remove you from our listing because you forgot to update your information. 5. Websites must be in English or French. Nothing personal, but if we can't read the content on the site there's no way for us to know if the content is suitable. Sorry! 6. No commercial websites. These are sites that are selling products, often found in the form of spam. There's a good chance your site is not a commercial one, just know that if it is it will not be listed. 7. Offensive or innapropriate websites will not be listed. Sites containing pornography, hateful, racist, or homophobic content etc. will not be approved. Tasteful nudity is alright as well as profanity, but we reserve the right to decide if such things are used in excess. 8. Annoying websites will not be listed. Using sticky caps (ie. I aM lYkE sO kEwL), animated .gif images, pagebuilder templates, neon text on neon backgrounds and so on are annoying and simply poor design. If we feel your site may cause seizure or blindness, we will not list it. 9. Freeservers will be judged harshley. Most webdesigners are serious enough to get hosted or purchase their own domain, but we all have to start somewhere. If you design is fantastic, we will probably tell you to go get hosted or host you ourselves. Just keep in mind that we don't want to be smothered in ads of any kind. 10. Design and content must be your own. If we have any reason to believe that you have stolen your layouts, graphics, or content from someone else, you have no right to be listed. Plain and simple. If, however, the layout, graphics, or content of your site was donated to you it must be clearly indicated. 11. Redirect urls will not be listed without exception. Sites such as .cjb.net, .dot.nu, .tk and so on will not be accepted. They slow loading time, add popup ads, and can cause errors. Submit the real url, there's no harm in that. If you move you can always update your info. 12. Active sites only! If your site is on hiatus, under major construction, friends only, or password protected when you submit, too bad. You need to show us that you have a site before we will list you, and what is the point of increasing traffic to a site the public is unable to access? 13. Keep your site description simple and to the point. There is no need need to add stars and squigglies and smilies everywhere because we will remove them, particularly if they are in the site title since it will royally screw up our alphabetization and is a cheap way of getting your name at the top of our list. 14. You may be removed at anytime if you discontinue to follow the rules. We reserve the right to remove your site from Lemon-Drop.net at our own discretion if your site violates any of these terms.
